RSVP’s Anna Robertson chats with Rod, a participant of WNOW. A day dedicated to connection, support, and community stories.
There’s nothing quite like the buzz of a community coming together, and that’s exactly what we felt at Cronulla Beach celebrating WNOW’s 2nd birthday. The sun was out, the energy was high, and the stories shared were real and raw — the kind that stay with you long after the day ends.
WNOW is a Men’s Health group focused on wellbeing, connections and community engagement. It stands for “When No one is Watching” – highlighting the value of investing in personal growth – in your personal time. It’s one of Australia’s fastest growing Charities with over 10,000 active members.
For RSVP, being part of the celebration wasn’t just about showing up, it was about standing alongside locals who are creating spaces where people can open up, be themselves, and feel supported. Watching men of all ages laugh, listen, and have each other’s backs was a powerful reminder of why community matters so much.
It’s in those conversations, that encouragement, and those honest moments that real change happens.
We’re here not just to help people find love, but to help them find belonging. Whether it’s through dating, friendships, or community events like this one, we want everyone to know they don’t have to go through life’s ups and downs on their own.
We’d love to connect with more groups doing this kind of work. If your community is creating safe, supportive spaces for people to come together, we’d be proud to partner with you. When people share openly and lift each other up, everyone benefits.
A big congratulations to WNOW (When No One’s Watching) on two years of impact. We can’t wait to see what’s next and to keep backing communities that bring people together in real and meaningful ways.
